CyGamBIT at the NCASC Conference 2023

We are delighted to share our experience of attending the National Children and Adult Services (NCASC) Conference 2023, which took place in Bournemouth from 29 November to 1 December.

The NCASC Conference is the largest and most influential event for senior leaders and decision makers in the field of children and adult services in the UK. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our innovative and engaging platform, CyGamBIT, which uses games to teach and raise awareness about cyber security and privacy for young people and adults.

CyGamBIT is a platform that uses interactive and immersive game-based learning approach to help young people and adults learn and practice essential skills for staying safe and resilient online. Our games cover topics such as cyber bullying, self-identity, privacy, security, scams, phishing, and more. We believe that cyber security and privacy are vital skills for everyone in the digital age, and that game-based learning is an effective, enjoyable and meaningful way to acquire and apply them.

We had a stand at the exhibition hall, where we demonstrated our games and received a lot of positive feedback and interest from the attendees. We also had a chance to network with professionals and experts from various sectors, such as local authorities, health and social care organisations, charities, and academia. We were impressed by the diversity and quality of the speakers and sessions at the conference, which covered a wide range of topics and issues relevant to children and adult services. We learned a lot from the presentations and discussions, and we also shared our insights and experiences with the audience.

We are very grateful to the organisers and supporters of the NCASC Conference for facilitating us and providing us with such a valuable platform to showcase our work. We are also thankful to all the participants who visited our stand, played our games, and expressed their interest and support. We hope that we have inspired and informed you about the importance and benefits of cyber security and privacy education through games.

If you missed us at the conference, don’t worry. You can still contact us to find out more about CyGamBIT and how it can help young people learn be safe and resilient online. We would love to hear from you and explore the possibilities of collaboration.
